JamUba ftpsync Script is a Perl utility to synchronize the hierarchy of local files and/or directories with the subtree of a remote FTP filesystem. This script should be usable for simple maintenance and is especially useful for small embedded systems that have limited file transfer protocols yet still require the ability to sync two filesystems.

The synchronization is quite simple in principle and uses the 'Net::FTP' and 'File::Find' perl modules. It is strongly recommended that you use the '-k' option to confirm the expected results to prevent data loss.

This script ignores symbolic links and will never likely be enhanced to support that capability. Symbolic links can also present the potential hazard of having a circular reference which would cause this script to execute forever.
