What has the power of AMD64 core technology, the performance of the NVIDIA nForce 4 chipset, and features for the server and desktop space? The Tomcat K8E (S2865) offers customers the flexibility to meet numerous application requirements. Features of the Tomcat K8E include support for the AMD Opteron 100 series (939-pin socket) processor, support for up to 4GB of DDR400/333 unbuffered memory, PCI Express x16 and dual x1 slots, integrated dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN, built-in multi-channel audio, SATA-II NVRAID , 1394a FireWire, and much more. In addition, Tomcat K8E-based systems will deliver higher performance-per-watt and better acoustic levels thanks to PowerNow! technology (with the AMD Opteron). With all of this, plus scalability for 32-bit and 64-bit applications, the Tomcat K8E presents a compelling solution for any number of customer requirements.
Do use the latest driver version available, it will help you use the facilities of your hardware easier and better. An old version can create hardware conflicts and errors in function.
