Changes:
Corrected a shutter lock-up problem in certain situations requiring
a power reset.
When the camera is set to or used in Movie mode, then the Quick
button is used to return the camera to Green mode, some Optio S4i
cameras will experience a non-fatal shutter lock-up.
Data record speed in Night Scene mode improved from approximately 7
seconds to 3.5 seconds.
In Movie mode, optical zoom is possible before starting the
recording. During the movie recording, only digital zoom will be
possible. However, before the recording begins, you may optically
zoom to the desired focal length.
Do use the latest driver version available, it will help you use
the facilities of your hardware easier and better. An old version
can create hardware conflicts and errors in function. Try to stay
updated with your drivers monthly or sometimes weekly. Chose wisely
the specific drivers: motherboards driver, bios, graphic cards
drivers, modem drivers and so on. Chose the right driver for your
hardware and try to make backups of your system every time you want
to make a change.
