Broadcom's AirForce family has rapidly become the preferred Wi-Fi
solution for 802.11 LAN equipment vendors and notebook suppliers.
AirForce Wi-Fi solutions include all-CMOS 802.11 radio chips,
baseband/MAC chips, 802.11g chipsets, Wi-Fi chipsets and network
processors for today's popular wireless LAN standards, including
IEEE 802.11a, b, and 54g maxperformance 802.11g. SmartRadio
technology, included in all Broadcom radios, improves wireless LAN
throughput and range.
Do use the latest driver version available, it will help you use
the facilities of your hardware easier and better. An old version
can create hardware conflicts and errors in function. Try to stay
updated with your drivers monthly or sometimes weekly. Chose wisely
the specific drivers: motherboards driver, bios, graphic cards
drivers, modem drivers and so on. Chose the right driver for your
hardware and try to make backups of your system every time you want
to make a change.
