PlexTools is software released by Plextor, a famous manufacturer of
CD, DVD and video devices. The utility is made to give extra
support to Plextor hardware by enhancing the possibility to
directly control specific functions.
General: Support for latest drives
DAE: When extracting to single file, the skip track button is
disabled
General: several minor bugfixes
Q-Check C1/C2 Test: in rare occasions,the software hangs when a
test is running (with AudioCD)
CD/DVD Copy: Copying a DVD-R multisession 'Off The Fly' results in
a write error.
AudioCD Maker: PTP hangs when trying to add an empty mp3-file (0
bytes)
If we receive the message "Source disc is to large" the destination
drive remains locked
AudioCD Player: CD with large pregap: When using the slider to
change the disc position, the slider jumps to another position when
releasing the slider.
Do use the latest driver version available, it will help you use
the facilities of your hardware easier and better. An old version
can create hardware conflicts and errors in function. Try to stay
updated with your drivers monthly or sometimes weekly. Chose wisely
the specific drivers: motherboards driver, bios, graphic cards
drivers, modem drivers and so on. Chose the right driver for your
hardware and try to make backups of your system every time you want
to make a change.
