AutoSlideshow is a Firefox extension that shows a slideshow of
all images of a page.
AutoSlideshow allows you to view slideshows of images of web
pages or images linked to from web pages. This is mainly useful for
viewing images of a page with no possibility for image
browsing.
Beside the slideshow it is possible to browse the images one
by one using back and forward buttons.
Be aware that images and linked images are only detected if
they are in pure html. So the extension is mainly thought to be
used for simple pages.
Here are some key features of
"AutoSlideshow":
· At the current state AutoSlideshow only detects images
that are placed in html tags like '' or ''. If AutoSlideshow says, that
it didn't find images, it's not a bug. check the html source code
of that page.
· all links or images must be on one page (something
like an overview page), links to html-pages with an image on it are
not regarded.
Requirements:
· Firefox: 1.5 – 2.0.0.

improved image search:
· search for images with consecutive numbering: if a
image file is opened in the current tab, AutoSlideshow tries to
find all images with similar names, e.g. if the current images is
"pic01.jpg", AutoSlideshow searches for "pic00.jpg, pic02.jpg"
and so on. One can specify a maximum gap between the numbers
· support for a lot of overview pages showing thumbnails
which link to webpages with images in higher resolution,
AutoSlideshow checks these links and searches the largest image on
the referenced pages, for example look at "www.pbase.com"
· search for images in the current tab, in all open tabs
or in the current tab and all tabs to the right
· support for server generated overview pages using snif
(www.bitfolge.de/snif-en.html)
· support for www.sxc.hu
· changed 32px icons to 24px
