Distrust 0.5 is firefox extensions software developed by Itamar Kerbel.
Distrust is a Firefox extension which hides surfing trails that the browser leaves behind.
AKA Private Browsing.
Once turned on this extension monitors FireFox for its activities.
Once turned off Distrust will remove history items cache and cookies that were used during the distrust session.
Here are some key features of "Distrust":
Disable the cache. (Both regular and SSL)
Set the cookies to live until the end of the session.
Clean up the history from item that were added after it was activated.
Clean up the downloaded items, from the download manager, that were added after it was activated.

Firefox 1.0 - 1.6 ALL
What's New in This Release:
A few bug fixes and an annoying bug that caused Distrust not to work properly if you had a blank homepage.
A new set of preferences lets you better control what distrust will monitor and what it will ignore. (See image below)
New icons (finally) thanks to Florian - they png now so they should blend better to any theme that you set.
Distrust 0.5 supports english interface languages and works with Linux.
Downloading Distrust 0.5 will take several seconds if you use fast ADSL connection.
