phpAuthorize is an online credit card authorization script for
use with InnovativeGateway.com (and Innovative Merchant Solutions
which is re-sold by GoDaddy.com for their Merchant Accounts).
Requirements:
· PHP 4.x or later
· Curl (can be built into PHP)
· Permissions to make outbound HTTP/HTTPS requests
Installation:
· Download the latest version of the software
· Untar/Gzip the package and upload all the files to
your server
· Read the "README" and the samples included to
integrate it into your application
History :
A few years ago I ran into the need to connect to a secure
payment gateway (InnovativeGateway.com) to authorize and charge
credit cards for products purchased. The only code they had at the
time was written in Perl. Obviously this was something that needed
fixing.
A few hours later I had phpAuthorize. It is a short script that
does all of the posting/gathering data from the gateway so you can
make the calls in your shopping cart/web site easier.
I did in fact send this package over to the gateway and you
might not believe it but it is still available for download from
them today!
