Ampache 3.3.3 Alpha 2 is audio software developed by Karl Vollmer.
Ampache is a PHP-based tool for managing, updating and playing your MP3/OGG/RM files via a web interface.
Ampache allows you to save playlists, create user accounts, and share your music catalogs with other Ampache servers.

What's New in 3.3.2.1 Stable Release:
A security audit was performed.
A security hole on systems with register globals enabled where a user could gain guest level access to your Ampache instance was fixed along with some other minor issues.
What's New in 3.3.3 Alpha 2 Development Release:
The major addition to this version is Democratic Play.
This new play type allows non-admin users to vote on a communal playlist.
Songs on this playlist are played based on the number of votes they have received.
After a song is played, it is removed from the playlist, and when there are no songs left, Ampache will pass a random song from the specified "Base Playlist".
The second major addition is the admin's ability to define the access level required to set preferences.
This version also includes many other minor bugfixes and improvements.
Ampache 3.3.3 Alpha 2 supports different languages (including english). It works with Linux.
