Blokkal project offers a KDE blogging client.
Description:
Blokkal is a KDE blogging client designed to support multiple
protocols and blogging sites. The goal is to provide a uniform way
to access the most commonly used blogging systems.
Currently Blokkal supports servers that employ the LiveJournal
blog software.
Requirements:
· The binary packages require at least KDE 3.4.
· To compile Blokkal yourself you need at least KDE 3.3
with the development files installed.
Installing
To install the RPMs execute this command as root: rpm -i
[filename]
To install the DEBs execute this command as root: dpkg -i
[filename]
To install from source the following steps are rqeuired:
Extract the archive and build with
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install
Please note, that --prefix=/usr is optional. If omitted the
default location /usr/local will be used. This however will put the
installation files somewhere into the depths of /usr/local where
they might not be in your search path. The most noticable effects
are the absence of the toolbars and icons.
