LedgerSMB project is a web-based double-entry accounting
system. It currently can run on Linux and Windows and offers a wide
range of features. While it began its life as a fork of SQL-Ledger,
the projects are rapidly moving in different directions. LedgerSMB
aims to provide a great accounting application for small
businesses, and a great platform for accounting solutions for
larger businesses. LedgerSMB is open source.

What's New in 1.2.12 Stable Release:
· This release fixes a few bugs relating to
multi-warehouse handling, and a few minor issues relating to
inventory management.
· A few corner cases relating to error handling were
addressed.
What's New in 1.3 Milestone 1 Development Release:
· This is a development snapshot and not suitable for
use in production environments.
· It is intended to provide an update to the community
as to the progress on 1.3.
· It adds a number of exciting features and changes such
as a new (and much cleaner) architecture for new code (and old code
as it is re-engineered), most of the work for voucher support,
on-hold status for invoices, enhanced contact management
capabilities, the beginnings of CRM support, code for a new
reconciliation system, RESTful Web services support, a new template
system, and much more.
