BASH Debugger 3.1-0.06 is shells software developed by Rocky Bernstein.
Bash Debugger project contains patched sources to BASH that enable better debugging support as well as improved error reporting.
In addition, this project contains the most comprehensive source-code debugger for bash that has been written.
Since this project maintains as an open CVS development and encourages developers and ideas, the space could be also be used springboard for other experiments and additions to BASH.
What's New in This Release:
This release adds the ability to run debugger commands on program breakpoint (gdb "commands"), show program status (gdb "info program), and call the debugger from inside the a debugged program, which potentially can speed things up and may increase reliabilty/reproducability of errors.
A better line tracing facility was added.
Documentation has been updated.
BASH Debugger 3.1-0.06 supports english interface languages and works with Linux.
