HotSync does not comprehensively backup your data and
it can not completely restore a handheld after synchronization
errors, dead batteries, resets, errant programs or
malware.
BackupBuddy 2 protects all the contents of your handheld
by keeping a running history of every change you make to each
and every file. If something should ever happen to your
handheld you don't need to spend hours restoring and reconfiguring
it. You can restore any file or your entire handheld from any
backup made in the past.
You simply cannot lose a single piece of data when you have
BackupBuddy Professional installed. Ever.
