Description:
Using the award winning power of the SmartList To Go relational
database and conduit to Microsoft Access a user of the DailyReport
template can quickly compile a "point and click" digital record of
multiple projects, tasks, and resources. DailyReport facilitates
recordation of expended contractor labor, equipment and material;
subcontractor workforce; weather and site conditions; percentage of
completion; paths to photos taken with an accessory PalmPix or
EyeModule camera; and, notes on owner instructions, changes,
delays, requests for information - the information needed to
document construction projects!
DailyReport's flexibility also allows you to plan/schedule resource
requirements for future dates. Using a PalmOS device's accessories
(modem, Handspring Phone) the manager in the field can remote synch
all this critical reporting information to the main office MS
Windows desktop PC for printing and analysis of historical
information - plus, future material and resource requirements.
Features:
1. "Point and Click" speeds data entry process - only quantities
and notes require PalmOS handwriting recognition. Speed and ease of
use is emphasized!
2. New project, tasks, labor, material, equipment, and
subcontractor descriptions can be added in the field if
desired.
3. Take advantage of the ability to synchronize with MS Access or
use the Desktop Export features and MS Office integration to
transfer information between your PalmOS device and Access, Excel,
Word, Project, etc.
4. Collect and transmit critical historical and planning
information from more than one Palm OS device user in a timely,
consistent and meaningful manner.
5. Share common information (Employee list, Equipment list,
Subcontractor list) with multiple PalmOS handhelds using SmartList
To Go?.
6. Record path names to photos on the desktop that have been taken
using an accessory PalmPix or EyeModule camera.
7. Many pre-defined views and filters are included and designed to
present the information collected on the Palm OS device in a
meaningful manner.
8. Preformatted Microsoft Access tables, queries, forms and reports
included with registered version!.
