Description:
My Roots is the most powerful genealogy application available
for Palm OS® handhelds. It lets you take your genealogy data
with you wherever you go. Since handheld computers can fit in your
shirt pocket or purse, they are much more convenient than a laptop
or a 3-ring binder. With My Roots, you can stay organized and work
more efficiently whether you're at a courthouse, library, or family
reunion.
My Roots comes with a free conversion utility (Windows and Mac
OS 8/9/X) for importing data from GED files created by all the
best-selling desktop genealogy applications including Family Tree
Maker, Legacy, PAF, Reunion, Generations, The Master Genealogist,
and Family Historian.

One-tap navigation from a person to parents, children, and
related events (two taps to get to a sibling)
Import from an existing GED file

Ability to sort and filter the list of people.
Family Group Sheet screen displays all relevant family

View a graphical representation of your family tree (ancestors
and descendants)

Religion
Support for sources and source citations
Create an unlimited number of notes, up to 32k each, for each
person, event, and fact
Graphical relationship calculator
Ability to keep several databases
Support for REFN tags to allow merging with PC data
Tracking of changes for easy update of PC data
Find Person function to quickly locate a specific
individual
Soundex value display for surnames
Automatically create categories for major surnames
Support for minimizing, maximizing, and rotating the display
for those devices running OS 5 that provide these capabilities,

The My Roots Conversion Utility is a separate
download.
You can download either the PC version or the Macintosh
version!
This is the English version. There is also a German version and
a French version.
