mLights is the keyboard and display backlight manager for Treo
650 and Treo 600. mLights will enable your keyboard backlight to
turn on automatically during the night hours, and to stay turned
off during the daylight period.
In addition to this, mLights is designed to preserve the Treo
battery and extend its lifetime. It does so by keeping the keyboard
backlights off during the day, and during the night it dims the
screen to lowest possible level and turns the keyboard backlights
on.
You can define a time period during which you don't want the
keyboard backlights to be turned on. The main purpose of this
feature is to increase the battery life and save you from annoying
backlights flashing (turning them on and off) during the daylight
periods when you don't need the backlights.
You will benefit by having the best balance between the battery
usage and user experience.
mLights Features:
Keep the keyboard backlights on during the night hours.
mLights will decrease your battery consumption by managing the
keyboard backlights and screen brightness level.
Dim the screen during the night - it is easier to look at the
dimmed screen during the night. Plus, it saves your batteries!
