In 1917, the Philadelphia-based Jewish Publication Society (JPS)
published a definitive English translation of the Tanakh, the
Hebrew Bible - the books known as the Torah, Prophets
(Nevi'im), and Writings (Kethuvim). Although these books
roughly correspond to the Christian "Old Testament," there are many
differences in translations. With its easy, flowing language, the
JPS version is enjoyed by Jews and non-Jews alike.
Bible With You (JPS1917) lets you read the Tanakh from JPS
(1917) on your Pocket PC PDA. The easy navigation as well as the
