without having to re-learn how to write alphabets just for your
PocketPC letter recognizer to understand your handwriting.
You do not have to attach a thumb keyboard neither!
Just take notes in your own handwriting
as if you were using a pen and paper!
HandNotes also makes use of your handwritten notes in
various ways. You can send your notes as a bitmap image email
attachment, set alarms, or use them with the built-in
Calendar and Today screen plug-in for future
reminders.
The HandNotes Installer also includes the
HandNotes Desktop Companion for Windows
9x/NT/2000/XP. You can use this application to automatically
download, view and print the notes created in
your PocketPC.
Key Features
Freely Jot Down Your Ideas.
You do not have to worry about any letter recognizer, just write
down as if you were using a pen and paper. Your notes will be saved
exactly as you have written and they can be viewed and edited
whenever you wish.
Plan ahead with HandNotes Calendar and
Reminders.
You can add quick handwritten notes to a particular date and
HandNotes Today plug-in will automatically remind you
about the notes on that day. Just tap the calendar date square
and write down your schedule!
HandNotes also supports setting an audible alarm to
notes. On set date/time, your PocketPC will alert you with
sounds and blinking LED lights, and show your
notes.
Get Organized with HandNotes File Manager.
Your notes can be grouped or categorized using a
familiar folder tree. You can easily create a folder or move
notes from one folder to another simply by tapping menu items.
The folders created and managed within HandNotes are not a
virtual representation, i.e., when you select the
Create Folder menu, you are actually creating a
folder on your storage device. Hence, the folder structure
maintained in HandNotes can also be browsed and accessed
using any file manager such as the PocketPC File
Explorer.
Add Text Comments to Your Notes.
You can add text memo to your handwritten notes. The added text
memo will be saved as a plain text file that can also be
edited with any text editor.
Email Your Notes.
When you tap the Send Email menu button in
HandNotes, your notes will be automatically converted to a
bitmap(BMP) graphic file and sent as an email attachment.
