This utility allows the application to not only initiate a
connection to the internet, but also an ActiveSync connection to a
remote computer. Can I try it? We have compiled a demo RAS project
for Pocket PC and Pocket PC 2002 using eVB or VB.NET to demonstrate
the ease of use of this utility. The Sapphire RAS DLL files are
included in the project for use with WinCE. Navigate to our files
section and download the personal use version to try the utility.
How does it work? The utility works by being called from the
eVB/VB.NET source code and is linked by using the Declare Function
statement which enables Visual Basic programs to use Dynamic-Linked
Libraries. What can it run on? The Sapphire RAS Dial functions are
designed to run on WinCE devices version 2.11 and above. The
Sapphire Phone Book functions are designed to run only on CE 3.0
and above. Download the personal use version to ensure
compatibility with your device.
