TennisTracker for PPC
TM provides a rich set of
tools that will help any tennis player's game, from novice to pro.
Using an intuitive set of data entry and scoring screens, which
have been extensively reviewed by professional coaches and players,
a whole match may be scored and tracked, a set at a time. In
addition to the entry of basic info like who won the point, options
are provided to track forehand vs. backhand, shot placements,
faults, winners, unforced and forced errors, and a variety of shot
types, such as, overheads, lobs, volleys, aces, approach shots,
passing shots and service returns.
At any point during of after a set, cumulative tracking
information is available for all players in a Stats screen in
spreadsheet format. In addition to the tracking data, a unique
ratings value is given for each player that "rewards" aggressive
play (i.e. - volleys, overheads, aces, etc.). These ratings values
are extremely useful for comparison purposes and for coaches
looking to rank players or combine partners with complementing
skills.
Also included is a free Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
template/program with filters for importing saved match data and
that generates detailed point-by-point match result reports and
comprehensive match summaries for each player.
