Description:
London Street Map covers 400 square kilometers of Greater
London in great detail. The clear and colourful maps are based on
the market leading London A-Z maps. The familiar looks make this by
far the easiest smartphone map to use in real life.
The area covered is 20 x 20 km, ie 400 sqkms. This is equivalent to
12.4 x 12.4 miles = 154 square miles.
A complete street name index with various names of places of
interest is included. The easy-to-search index contains
more than 28000 street names and names of places of
interest. Type a street name and get to the right spot
with one keypress. Much faster than using the little book...This is
by far the fastest mobile map application for Symbian devices - a
truly mobile map!
The application does not need a wireless connection: all map
data is stored on the phone's memory card. This is a key feature
which makes the application fast and convenient to use. When the
application starts you'll see immediately the street search screen:
no intermediate screens to slow you down; this is very important
for an application which you need frequently while on the road.
Lumisoft's sophisticated compression technology ensures minimum
space requirements balanced with fast scrolling functionality. The
software can be installed with partial map data if sufficient
memory space is not available. Please note that due to the very
large map size and due to the memory limitations of smartphones,
the installation has been divided in many SIS files. Installation
takes time unless a memory card reader is used. If installation is
a concern you may want to try our smaller map, London Street Map
for Symbian Phones which covers 100 square kilometers and is thus
faster to install.
