Mandala Encryption Add-on is an optional add-on for Mandala
Notebook that allows sensitive information to be securely protected
using strong encryption. Mandala Notebook is a new, powerful
application for Symbian UIQ phones that combines all your notes,
drawings, tasks, appointments, Word and other text documents into
one integrated and easy-to-use system. Mandala Notebook combines
the functionality of a text editor, outliner, and eBook reader, and
allows you to easily exchange data with Microsoft Word, Outlook,
and other standard PC applications. Now with the Encryption Add-on,
you can also store sensitive data in Mandala Notebook. Compared
with over data security applications, this has the advantage that
you can consolidate secure data in the same system as other data,
instead than having separate systems. The Encryption Add-on enables
you to use Mandala to manage your user-names and passwords for
computer and email accounts. In addition, online banking
information such as PIN and TAN numbers can be stored, as well as
credit card details. You can also protect private journal entries
and other notes, and you can encrypt multiple, large imported
documents such as reports, extracts from web pages, or even whole
eBooks. In addition to your encryption password, the Encryption
Add-on lets you set a fast unlock using a combination of jog dial
actions. This lets you have very fast and easy access to your
protected data. A free trial version of the Encryption Add-on is
bundled with Mandala Notebook 1.1. Thus if you are already using
Mandala Notebook 1.1 or later, you do not need to download the
Encryption Add-on separately.
