Gold Wave Editor is a powerful and fully-featured tool that can record any sound passing through any line of your sound card. For example, you will be able to record sound being played back by an external program, sound from a microphone, an external LP, cassette, CD/DVD player, AM/FM/Satellite radio, etc.
A built-in sound editor is also available, allowing you to cut, trim, and merge your recordings. The editing can be easily performed using a visual representation of the sound and using clipboard operations.
Gold Wave Editor is a visual audio editor, converter, recorder, and burner software solution, which supports many advanced and powerful operations with the audio data. MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, and many more formats are all supported for direct audio editing, conversion, recording, and burning.
The audio editing feature of this tool is well-done - you will be able to open, create and save audio files, play an audio file or any part of it or visually edit an audio file (Cut, Copy, Delete, Paste, Paste From File, Mix, Mix From File and Insert or Delete noise or silence in an audio file).
