This free music software has a huge bunch of built in synthesizers and FX, a sequencer with clips and patterns, a wave editor and a sampler.

Macaw is an impressive yet free music software that provides a huge bunch of built in synthesizers and FX, a sequencer with clips and patterns, a wave editor and a sampler.
It can load VST plugins, export to MP3, Ogg, Wav and other audio formats, and it provides many built in synths. Click and Play! A high precision piano roll, Midi Import, Soundfont banks and VST plugins are also provided.
The included sequencer controls the tracks and parts of tracks called clips that make up songs. Notes and messages from the sequencer are sent to the synthesizer to play music in realtime.
Soundfonts are collections of instruments that can be loaded into the sampler in Macaw and then played from a variety of plugins.
The download package contains the Macaw program, the Macaw wave editor, a default soundbank, help file and plugin presets.
