Spectro Frequency Analyzer enables the user to perform real-time frequency analysis with the use of the sound card.
Spectro Frequency Analyzer computes the averaged auto power spectrum of the time signal. Exponential and linear averaging are available applying the most common window functions.
The Spectro Frequency Analyzer software helps you perform real-time frequency measurements using your PC or laptop sound card. The program computes, in real-time, the averaged auto power spectrum of the time signal recorded by a microphone, connected to the sound card. Sampling rates of 8 kHz up to of 44.1 kHz (22050 Hz frequency span), 1 channel, and 16 bit are supported. RMS or peak hold averaging analysis can be performed with linear or exponential averaging, applying the most popular window functions. Time History and Frequency Spectrum results are presented in graphical format with cursor tools for precision amplitude analysis. Moreover, the results can be easily saved in a text file and imported into a spreadsheet program for additional analysis and presentation. The software is compatible with Windows 2000/Windows XP.
NOTES:
- A sound card is required to use the program. The software will automatically detect the installed sound devices on your PC.
- Please ensure that the sound card and drivers are installed and enabled before you open the program.
- Please ensure that the sound card software is correctly set-up and that the correct source input (microphone jack) is selected for the microphone.
- A run-time engine is part of the installation.
