Itel Office is an Integrated Contact Management Package that has been designed for use within small to medium sized organisations wherever contact with people and/or organizations is important.
Because of its integration with telephony, organisations that have a modern digital telephone switch will appreciate Itel Office benefits to the full. With the telephony integration, an incoming call causes the Itel Office database to be searched and the details of the matching contact to be displayed. In other words, when someone calls Itel Office "pops" up with their name and address together with any notes associated with that contact, and a history of the most recent activities such as calls received or made and letters sent.
As well as being integrated with your telephony, Itel Office also integrates with your word processing, fax and e-mail, so actions resulting from a telephone conversation become much easier you handle and as a result are usually done quicker and better. Even if a conversation does not require a letter, fax or e-mail to be sent, adding a few simple notes about the conversation will enable others within your organisation to see what has been said.
As well as being able to recognise incoming calls and display the database record Itel Office will allow for simple automatic dialling of a contacts telephone number, DDI, and or mobile number.
Additionally, a user has control over do not disturb, divert, voicemail, voicemail ringback, call waiting from within Itel Office thus eliminating the need to use proprietary telephone software provided by your telephone system manufacturer.
Itel Office is based around a Microsoft Access database. The database is structured by organisation and allows for multiple contacts within each organisation. Written with ease of use as a priority, Itel Office displays the information relating to each of your contacts quickly and efficiently.
The information held includes main telephone number, DDI number, fax number, mobile number, a notes area, and a history of telephone calls, both in and out, letters and fax sent. In fact all the information required to enable you to manage your contacts and provide a greater level of service.
Itel Office also includes an extremely powerful search facility that makes finding individual contacts or groups of contacts easy. This search facility is particularly useful when creating letter, fax or e-mail merges. For example, selecting all Sales Directors of your Customers in your Northern Sales Area to send a letter, fax or e-mail takes only a few key strokes.
Itel Office is designed to integrate fully with Microsoft Word. This integration works both ways. Itel Office also integrates with e-mail to enable both single e-mails and e-mail merges to be created quickly and easily. One of the most powerful features of Itel Office is it's ability to merge contact details to create group letters, faxes, labels and/or e-mails.
In addition to managing your contacts, another key office priority is to effectively manage our time. So Itel Office features an multi-user shared electronic diary system for scheduling time.
