Are you tired of using the classic way - paper and pencil to create a list of materials for an estimate, then pricing each item, then calculating totals, then typing the proposals? (Phew!) You then submit the proposal to the customer only to have them call back in three months requesting the job to be done. Now you have to update pricing, recalculate totals and retype the proposal.
With SOS - Estimating/Invoicing/Payroll you can select the materials from a database of supplies and enter quantities for each item. The totals are automatically calculated and the proposals are printed with the information already contained in your estimate. If the customer calls back in three months, you reload the estimate - click on update pricing and reprint the proposal, saving you time to do `whatever`.
As you learn to create Estimates, Time & Material Bills & Invoices you will see how easy it is to build Assemblys of commonly performed jobs, and to include these Assemblys in your estimates & modify them as needed for that particular job, update the pricing as necessary, and then when you are done - print a Proposal from the estimate data, or create a Time & Material Estimate & transfer the results to Invoicing where you can edit and/or print the automatically created Invoice, all without repeatedly entering the same data over & over again.
