Send Me A Reminder is a unique desktop software that uses artificial intelligence to detect and schedule reminders while you work on a computer: in the e-mails you send or receive (MS Outlook), IM chats, typed text in documents, etc. Your computer becomes your personal assistant asking you if you would like to be reminded when (for example) you had typed "I will call you first thing on Friday" in an email reply. If you choose "yes", come Friday morning, you'd get a message reminding you about what you said earlier during the week. You can schedule your own personal reminders by simply typing "call mom this afternoon", or "pick up lunch in 30 mins." - no calendars to launch, no looking up dates or times of week to schedule quickie reminders - just plain language reminders.
You will also be able to choose to what degree you want to automate the service.
The reminders can be detected and scheduled in a fully automated fashion (you really get the feeling that your computer has come alive) or you can choose to review what is being detected before approving a reminder.
The reminders can also be by received by any combination of e-mail, txt message to a cell phone or desktop popups.
The software comes with a plugin for MS Outlook and Internet Explorer to make remembering to remember a thing of the past. For most people the biggest problem with reminders of any kind is not only that you have to remember to schedule them, but also that you have to take the time to create a reminder: lookup the date, enter the date in the calendar, enter the time, enter the message.
