12Ghosts Zip is a fast compression application, compatible with the
ZIP industry standard, and command line support.
12-Zip has Explorer integration, a graphical window to manage
zip files, for example add, freshen, move, or update files,
supporting different compression methods, and features a small
executable. Now supports Zip2, up to 20% smaller zips!
Here are some key features of "12Ghosts
Zip":
· Up to 20% better compression than standard zip
format
· Easiest handling of compressed files. Only 2 steps to
zip - one click to unzip
· Always creates self-extracting files - you'll never
need a program to unzip 12-Zip2 files
· Send a 12-Zip2 compressed file by e-mail to a friend.
They don't need to know anything about zip files. All they need to
do is double-click the compressed file.
· Includes subfolders, and re-stores them relative to
the target folder, automatically.
· Burrows-Wheeler compression algorithm, generally
considerably better than LZ77/78-based compressors
