You won’t have to build your projects using the command line anymore, and there will also be no need to recall the list of valid targets and properties: just use NAnt Wizard.
Working with NAnt Wizard is actually so easy that even a person that has never heard of NAnt will successfully build a project.
NAnt Wizard is a single executable file and it’s so small that can easily become a part of your project along with the source code. NAnt Wizard visualizes you build scripts and, therefore, enables you to easily see any disagreements in project, target and property naming. Your build scripts will be well-structured and understandable.
NAnt Wizard will be a great addition to the toolkit of any of your employees, from programmers to designers or even technical writers – that is, to anyone who has to use NAnt either regularly or occasionally. Say “no” to endless .bat files! Instead of a command line with an endless list of parameters you now get a simple and intuitive interface that divides all your work into 3 simple steps. You may also define which projects, targets and properties will be available to users and which won’t.
To avoid input mistakes, you can define a limited list of values that properties can assume.
You can now also see the progress of the build process and you may demonstrate the build results to the user in a single window.
NAnt Wizard is installed once per project, but not individually on each developer's system.
