Description:
Internet Download Manager is a tool to increase download speeds,
resume and schedule downloads. The program features an adaptive
download logic accelerator, dynamic file segmentation and
multi-part downloading technology, and it reuses available
connections without additional connect and login stages. Internet
Download Manager can also dial your modem at the set time, download
the files you want, then hang up or even shut down your computer
when it is done. It dynamically adopts all settings to your
particular connection type in order to maximize your download
speed. The program supports firewalls, proxy and mirror servers,
FTP and HTTP protocols, redirects, cookies, download queues, user
authorization, mp3 content processing and a large number of
different server platforms. It integrates seamlessly into Microsoft
Internet Explorer, Netscape, MSN Explorer, Opera and Mozilla to
automatically handle your downloads, or you can use the alternate
drop basket to drag and drop download links for processing.
Internet Download Manager is easy to use and uses proven methods to
actually increase your download speeds in most cases, often up to
500%. We were able to achieve excellent results in our tests.
