Pac-Mania is a reproduction of the classic game Pacman. The player has to guide Pac-Man around a maze so that it eats all of the dots on the board in order to procede on to the next round.
Numerous and multi-colored ghosts also roam the maze trying to stop Pac-Man. You have to avoid them.
If Pac-Man eats one of the power pellets in the maze, the ghosts will temporarily turn blue and then they will start running from you. When the ghosts are in this state Pac-man can eat them and earn extra points.
The maze is now in 3-D and is larger than the screen which will scroll to follow the action.
To get out of the tight spots, Pac-Man now has the ability to jump. Also the ghosts will earn the ability to jump in Sandbox Land, so you could end up in a mid air collision. In the Jungly Steps things get really hard and after that the game repeats and Pac-Man moves twice as fast with more ghosts on each level.
