Datacatch Librarian will automatically catalog all the removable media including removable hard drives, optical discs, USB thumb drives and flash memory cards. It detects when the media is connected to your computer and asks you whether you want to add that media to your library.
Datacatch Librarian will also record the physical location of where each piece of removable media is stored to quickly locate and retrieve it at any time. The locations can include commercial CD and DVD storage racks and towers, office furniture and even buildings and vehicles.
The Datacatch Librarian Professional Edition provides a loan management system that is designed to manage the lending of all your removable media. It tracks all the items on loan, the contact details of all borrowers and the dates items are due for return.
Datacatch Librarian is integrated into Microsoft Windows so you won't need to learn new software, just browse and search the files stored on removable media in the same way you would on your computer's hard drive.
