Image Splitter is a smart tool that allows you to create Web-ready images by optimizing and slicing these images.
This tool can automatically select the most suitable image formats (JPEG, GIF or PNG) and give you several useful options for optimization.
You can also use this program to protect your online images from unauthorized downloading with the Secure Image mode. In addition, you can slice a given image into smaller pieces so that it loads more quickly, with options for selecting a method of fragmentation. Other features include a batch processing facility, automatic color selection for "No Image" slices, and support for targeted events such as ALT, TARGET, OnMouseOver, and OnMouseOut.
Image Splitter can dramatically speed up the loading of huge images in your HTML pages. User's Internet browser will load slices of the picture simultaneously! Image Splitter lets you use the so-called "No Image" slice. "No Image" slice is an empty cell of the table filled with a color of the corresponding area of the source image. (Because "No Image" slices contain no image data, they can be downloaded more quickly).
