Golden Ratio is a specialized screen measurement and stencil tool, created to determine proportions in relation to the golden section, an aesthetically pleasing formula that is used by painters, architects, and other artists.

Golden Ratio is a specialized screen measurement and stencil utility created to determine the proportions in relation to the golden section, an aesthetically pleasing formula that is used by painters, architects, photographers and other artists.
Golden Ratio features a translucent worksheet window that can be used with other image editing or design software. You will be able to easily combine, resize and rotate multiple ratio stencils to analyze different sections of the image and then use the cropping or painting features in your software to edit the image based on the on-screen template overlay. There are also several different patterns for the stencils. It also provides a handy tool for on-screen measurement of angles, distances and the ratio of two segments.
Golden Ratio contains two different tools on a translucent window, which stays on top of any other window.
- the Stencil tool. It is used to create template patterns useful in conjunction with any painting, photo manipulation or design software. The stencils help you create image compositions according to the "golden section" rule or some other ratios.
- the Measure tool. It is used to define two lines on the screen. The lengths as well as the angle and the ratio of the two lines are displayed.
Multiple copies of each tool can be used at the same time.
Limitations:
- After an evaluation period of 30 days you have to buy a licence for the program. Otherwise it will stop working.
