The synchronization of files through a FTP server is a common job in companies with remote working places, and it is known that the synchronization of data is quite an exhausting process especially if it is performed manually.
CarbonFTP is a small and simple in use utility for the synchronization of files in local folders and FTP server folders. This tool features a simplistic interface designed as a step-by-step wizard, making the process of synchronization very fast and easy.
The program has a handy step-by-step wizard which will guide the user through the process of synchronization with the help of simple and clear instructions. Added to this, the utility may save any newly created task for the next launch.

The synchronization of files using the CarbonFTP tool is very simple: all the user has to do is to start the program and follow the instructions of the built-in wizard. The full process takes just 5 steps. The user has to choose if he wants to create a new project or open an existing one. Then the user should fill in the connection parameters of the FTP server and other authentication data like the username and the password.
The third step consists in the specification of the remote and local folders and synchronization mode. It is also possible to include subfolders or create an exact copy. Besides, the program lets the user set up file masks if some files should be included or excluded from the synchronization process. After that, the wizard offers to check the project settings and verify the synchronization parameters. The user only has to click the “Go” button and the task is completed. Finally, the program asks if the user wants to save the task or not.
This tool is also completely freeware.
