Description:

SQLBox description
The Structured Query Language assignment processor. Using SQLBox, you can retrieve, edit or otherwise modify large amounts of database information with a single assignment. Any viewable result data, is instantly displayed on a view grid.
The contents of both the tab pages (the assignment and it's result) are instantly printable, by using the print assignments (through a preview window, allowing you to judge your page before actually printing it.
A full SQL enabled User Report Generator (URD) is included, allowing you to do in-depth SQL reporting. The User Report Generator reports to both printer and screen.
Here are some key features of "SQLBox":
· Database type
Various: all database types that are supported by the Borland Database Engine.
· Multiple database sets Supported.
The database(s) to be used can be selected in your SQL assignment text.
· Data browsing
When processing an SQL assignment that produces a result dataset, SQLBox will automatically present this data on it's "ViewGrid" tab page.
· Editable items
Editing of database data is possible by SQL assignment only.
· Backup facilities
Please note that backup software is not within SQLBox's scope, since there is wide variety of excellent backup solutions available.
· Network support
SQLBox is suitable for working in a network environment.
· Color, font and mouse adjustments
Implemented to follow the Windows operating system settings.
· Exporting data to textfile(s)
One standard print job has been built in: it will print the contents on the active tabpage in an optimimal page layout.
· Customizable printjobs
All printjobs are able to print their data to a textfile, by utilizing the Windows operating system's printer driver "Print to textfile".
· Documentation
Implemented as online helpfile(s).
