Sniping is the act of placing a bid in the last few seconds of an auction so as to make it difficult for anyone to place a bid after you. You can do it manually, or you can have software or a service do it for you. Desktop Bidder Lite is one of these tools that allows you to place automatic bids on the chosen items in the last seconds of the auction.
