GPS Guide is a .Net Windows application for video and audio files playback with anchoring to geographical coordinates.

GPS Guide is a multimedia player intended for video and audio files playback with anchoring to geographical coordinates, using topographic maps.
In other words for every position on the map you can set a certain media file, that will be played when this position will be reached. On the other hand, this product can't be used for navigation.
As position data source it is planned to use an external Bluetooth GPS receiver or embedded GPS receiver, that will be seen as COM port.
GPS Guide is provided for entertainment and experimentation purposes only, it is not intended as a primary source of navigation or as the primary means of piloting and guiding of vehicles. Always rely on your own navigational skills and official maps or charts before making a decision on any actions you take.
Examples of usage:
If "GPS guide" is installed on a laptop in a city bus, can play video or audio files with description of local sights exactly at the moment of passing them. By using "GPS guide" in transport you can also organize geocontext advertising. In this case advertising material of exact shop will be played at the moment, when passengers can see mentioned shop through the window.
