Use River Past Audio Capture as a universal audio converter by recording from the speakers. Sometimes it is the only way to transfer DRM protected WMA or iTune audio files to WAV or MP3.
Record to MP3 or WMA for your portable audio players, or share it on the internet. Record to WAV or AVI so you can use it in your favorite video editing programs.
River Past Audio Capture is the only audio recording software which can record from your DV camcorder connected to a 1394 port. Have a tape of your kid's concert? Make a CD!

River Past Audio Capture supports the following output formats:

· M4A (MPEG-4 Audio) - MPEG-4 Booster Pack required

· MOV (QuickTime) - MOV Booster Pack required.
· MP3 (MPEG Layer-3)
· OGG (OGG Vorbis)
· RA (RealAudio) - RealMedia Booster Pack required
· WAV
· WMA (Windows Media Audio)
Here are some key features of "River Past Audio Capture":
· River Past Audio Capture is tested to run on any PC with a Pentium III/Celeron CPU of 500 MHz or above. A sound card is required.
· 8.0 or above. We strongly recommend that you always use the latest the latest DX (currently 9.0b) because it provides better stability and performance.
· For WMA output, you must have 9 or higher installed.
· For OGG Vorbis output, you must have Tobias' OGG Vorbis DirectShow filters installed
Requirements:

· DirectX - River Past Audio Capture requires DirectX 8.0 or above. We strongly recommend that you always use the latest the latest DX (currently 9.0b) because it provides better stability and performance.
· WMF - For WMA output, you must have Windows Media Format runtime 9 installed. We provide it in a separate download package.
· OGG filters - For OGG Vorbis output, you must have Tobias' OGG Vorbis DirectShow filters installed.
Limitations:
· Unregistered version limits recording to 2 minutes
