River Past Windows Mobile Recorder lets you capture your Windows Mobile SmartPhone or PDA software screen and display it on a PC monitor, and provides an easy way to take a snapshot of the device screen and record the device screen into a video file.
For software training, demo, and marketing, nothing beats a good video recording of how the software works. However, this is no possible on mobile devices, due to the limited storage and CPU power, until now.
River Past Windows Mobile Recorder will run on a regular Windows PC and it will grab the screen image from your Windows Mobile devices, for presentations, frame captures, and screen video recordings.
By using the PC for recording, you will be able to run your regular Windows Mobile software with minimum interference. By recording the screen directly from the device, you will have an accurate video recording of how the device really works.
Big Screen Demos - connect your Windows Mobile 5 or Windows Mobile 6 SmartPhone or PocketPC PDA to your PC via ActiveSync, with either USB or Bluetooh wireless and then run the River Past Windows Mobile Recorder. You will see the mobile device screen on your PC. Do your demo on your PC screen, or project it onto a wall with a projector. That’s how demos are supposed to be done.
You may also run your mobile software, and capture the screen in a simple mouse click. The screenshots will be saved as either BMP or JPG files and you can edit them later for your documentation or website. If you want to record a video instead a sequence of images, just click on the “Record” button.
