Virtos Noise Wizard is a powerful audio plug-ins pack designed to help you remove clicks, crackle, hiss, hum and many other types of noise often present in older recordings.
Noise Wizard is a great set of DirectX compatible plug-ins for restoration of audio from LPs, 78 rpm recordings, cassettes, low quality MP3s or any digital media with drop-outs.
You will be able to remove even the background buzz of your home videos.
Virtos Noise Wizard is therefore a versatile set of DirectX plugins for audio restoration. Each of the plugins improves the quality of bad audio material and is specialised for a specific effect, this way the bothersome noise such as clicks, crackle, hiss, hum and many other types of noise often present in older recordings, is removed effectively.
Noise Wizard consists of the following five plug-ins:
-DeClicker/DeCrackler - Virtos DeClicker removes impulsive noise like clicks or spikes that might be generated by dirt and vinyl surface scratches, digital switching, or drop-outs. The DeCrackler is specialized in extremely short impulse degradations with small amplitude, often occuring on 78 rpm records and LPs.
-DeNoiser - Virtos DeNoiser removes broadband noise like hiss or hum using algorithms based on psychoacoustic techniques. The DeNoiser provides three different ways of enhancing the audio, and together they will reduce any broadband noise without corrupting the source material.
-Filter Toolbox - The Filter Toolbox contains a set of versatile digital filtering tools for low-, high- and bandpass filtering and even supports user drawn frequency curves. This functionality is extremely useful when restoring recordings with degraded quality.
-Stereo Processor - Create "true" stereo from a mono source, correct phase errors or adjust the stereo field with the Stereo Processor. Make the old recordings sound fancy and alive.
-Band Extrapolation - Synthesize high or low frequency harmonics to give life to dull recordings. The Band Extrapolation plug-in is suitable for post processing such as enhancing the often missing high frequencies in old recordings or increasing the perceived bass.
Each of the plugins has its own user interface and opens in its own window.
Noise Wizard is available as a complete package or as separate plug-ins.

-A beep sound is generated automatically every 5 to 10 seconds
