Advanced Cookie Manager is an internet cookie viewer, shredder and manager.
The cookies are bits of information that a website may save or as they say drop on your PC when you first visit the site. If you ever wondered what info they contain, this is the software that allows you to look at the list of cookies, the parameters saved and even securely remove them from your PC.
Backup and Restore features are also available. You will be able to search and "secure delete" cookies with shredding algorithms that ensure that no one else will be able to see the tracks of the sites that have been visited on this computer.
There are additional options that include manual selection of internet cookies folder location on the hard disk, selection of backup folder and an option to ask a confirmation prior to erasing cookies.
A built in shredder will let you easily wipe the cookies from your PC with a peace in mind so that no other software would be able to recover data. Three shredding methods are available: Gutmanns, US DoD 5220.22 M or simply overwriting with random data and erasing later.
Viewing cookie data as plain text in Notepad and printing the cookies list are also possible. There too can be accessed when right-clicking on the cookie file name and via "Edit" menu command.
When the program is minimized it appears in the system tray. You may shred cookies directly from a popup menu, that will appear if you right click on the icon at the tray.
