Font Matching Tool description
Will rapidly find a font from a sample graphic.
Did you wver wish to find a font just like the one used in
newspaper, logos or book titles? You have an image, but you
haven't a clue what the font is used? This tool will browse trough
your system fonts, folders or font database created by Font
Matching Tool to find this font or just similar with character(s)
cropped from an image.
Here are some key features of "Font Matching
Tool":
· Preview of filtered fonts with default font viewer
· Sample text with various sizes, styles and colors
· Copy to selected folder filtered fonts
· Pick up any color value from the image for sample text
and background colors
· Font Matching Tool has built in a few tools for image
editing which will help you to prepare an image for character(s)
cropping. The most important tool is screen capturing tool. It
enables you to crop and automatically import an image directly into
Font Matching Tool editing area as gray-scaled image.
Limitations:
· You cannot create font database
· Only uppercase ASCII characters 'A..Z' - codepoint
values 65-90 and lowercase 'a..e' - codepoint values 97-101 can
be compared
· Nag screen
