Comment your downloads and view the comments in a Tooltip.
TipOff is incompatible with CommentConfig. The setup program will remove CommentConfig before installing. If you wish to preserve your CommentConfig data, download Tip2Tree and follow the instructions before installing TipOff.
Included is a converter to read TipOff .tof files and output a simple TreePad .hjt file. Although Tooltips are supported only for archive file types, you can use the Property Page Comment Tab to comment any file. With the converter you can create TreePad files that can be edited and imported with TreePad Lite. Use it as a convenient way to build your utilities database.
NOTES:
1. The latest version fixed a bug where deleted comments were not removed.
2. The Property Page now has a Help Button. It looks for TreePad format help but if no program is associated with .hjt file type it resorts to ebook stand-alone help. If it finds neither in the install folder, it's disabled. Stand-alone ebook help is available as a separate download. See the Readme file for the link.
