XYplorer is a full featured file manager that has many useful functions and is capable to improve the way in which you can manage files and folders on Windows operating system.
It has a graphical user interface based on tabs. The Tree and List offer a suite of unique highlighting options to increase visual grip.
XYplorer features a high-end search engine with tremendous power and amazing speed. It fully supports Boolean Logic, advanced pattern matching, Regular Expressions, Boolean RegExp (the Boolean combination of any number of Regular Expressions), whole word and fuzzy matching, content search (look for text strings inside files, wildcards supported), multiple location search, and much more. It is a non-indexed search, so your search results are always live and up-to-date.
You can save your current search settings to a Search Template or in a Finding Tab for later one-click re-use. Very handy with complex search patterns or distributed search locations.
Main Features:
- Dual Pane: Have the contents of two folders side by side, and move or copy your files comfortably and safely from pane to pane. Both panes are optionally multi-tabbed and can be arranged vertically or horizontally.
- Optionally, for each file and folder, the real disk space used is immediately displayed.
- Start Where You Stopped: Remembers last folder, sort order, scroll position, column widths, and selected files per-tab and cross-session.
- Browser-like history functionality. There's a global history and an individual history for each tab.
- Can define favorite folders and files.
- Extended Context Menu: A large suite of useful commands added to the standard file context menu, including Copy To, Move To, Copy Filename with Path, Copy File Properties, Copy Large/Small Icon, Multi-file Rename (optionally using Regular Expressions).
- Icon-extraction, multi-file time-stamping and attribute-stamping.
- Full support for drag-n-drop and wheel mouse.
- Made to handle heavy-duty jobs.
