tinySpell is a small spell checking program, that automatically spell checks a selected word that is copied to the clipboard. You can also set tinySpell to check your spelling on the fly while you are typing and alert you by sound whenever it detects a misspelled word. The program runs in the system tray and suggests correct spellings via mouse click menu or hotkey. Additional features include a private dictionary and an auto-replacement feature. As you occasionally might need to check spelling in an application that does not include a spelling checker and you don't want to launch your word processor just for that, tinySpell is a small tool that will come in handy. tinySpell is a small tool that will allow you to easily and quickly check and correct the spelling in any Windows application.
tinySpell will unobtrusively watch your typing on the fly and alert you whenever it detects a misspelled word. It can also easily check the spelling of any text that you copy to the clipboard.
tinySpell will install itself in your system tray for quick and easy access and it comes with a reliable American-English dictionary containing more than 110,000 words.
Correcting a mistake is very simple when it comes to tinySpell. When a misspelled word is detected by tinySpell, just click the tinySpell icon or press the hot-key to pop up a list of suggested replacement words. If the misspelled word is detected during on-the-fly checking or after a word is copied to the clipboard you can select a correction from the list. The selected word is inserted into your document, or is copied to the clipboard (so you can paste it in your document), or both (depending on your settings).
tinySpell is also a small application, easy-to-use and intuitive, that may reside unobtrusively in your system tray and help you check or correct your spelling any time when needed without making you lose precious time opening other applications.
