xpy is a small freeware software to secure your Windows 2000/XP/2003 installation and protect your privacy.
In addition to the so-called Antispy features, it also disables common security threats (RPC/DCOM, LMHash) and increases your Windows performance.
This small tool disables the default threats of a Windows XP installation. Besides disabling Windows and some of its components to communicate with Microsoft servers, xpy also improves the privacy settings and your system’s security.
Though xpy is smaller than 90 kilobytes, it can close serious threats (i.e. DCOM) on long distance, where large service-packs can only protect you until a new security hole has been found.
