CineGobs Keyer is a freeware chroma keyer, color difference keyer and difference keyer for the Windows PC's using the .net 2.0 framework.
CineGobs keyer is a simple, smart and easy-to-use software application designed for keying out backgrounds. Keying is a technique used to separate foreground objects from the background. You can work on video files, image sequences and single images.
Six different keying methods are used in CineGobs keyer:
- Color difference keying, which is an old but still very useful technique.
- Detail keying, a technique inspired by a Blender node setup, created by David Weese.
- Hue keying, which is practically chroma keying.
- Shadow keying, for extracting shadows or just add that extra detail to your hue matte.
- Highlight keying, similar to the shadow matte but for highlights.
- Difference keying, using hue, shadow or highlight mattes.
By freely combining these six methods you can create great looking mattes. CineGobs Keyer also has several algorithms for spill suppression.
