The long awaited Windows Vista has lived up to its expectations, by leaving a well deserved Windows XP behind. Unlike its predecessors, XP with its service packs managed to be the biggest selling operating system on the globe for almost half a decade now. Though it still crashes at times, with still a lot of holes to cover, Windows XP is definitely the right answer when it comes to solving security breaches, with its antivirus software, spy ware protection remaining at a high level.
Now that Windows Vista has appeared, I presume that step by step clients will turn to Microsoft’s new OS, benefiting from its new enhancements and improvements. Nevertheless, Windows XP will still be clearing up fixes, after it releases Service Pack 3, in 2008-2009 I believe.
